DXN aka Dan Cross is the founder of Tegleg Records. He is also an electronic music producer and sound artist. He has also produced several short films. Often compared to Plaid and Autechre his sound is melodic, glitchy, complex, dark and uplifting with emphasis on texture and subtle emotive atmosphere, ranging from Warp/Rephlex Records style Braindance to more experimental soundscapes. Recently his sound has become more influenced by dubstep, wonky, wotstep? With emphasis on bass frequencies and stepper rhythms. |
